Mirfield murder hunt moves focus to Estonia

A man sought by detectives probing a Mirfield murder is suspected to have fled to Estonia.

The suspect is thought to have left Britain before the discovery on Tuesday of the body of 36-year-old Latvian national, Nadija Ondzule, who had been found strangled at her home in Oldfellows Street.

The strangled body of Latvian national Nadija Ondzule was found in a house in Oddfellows Street, Mirfield, on Tuesday evening.

Now police and the Crown Prosecution Service are believed to have applied for a European Arrest Warrant to return him to Britain for questioning about the killing.
